Atlas Obscura x Airbnb Announcement

In September 2019, Atlas Obscura announced a Series B investment led by Airbnb to expand the company’s trips and events. My work comprised liaising with Airbnb counterparts, creating the communications strategy, and press release. This resulted in 10 features, including an exclusive with The Wall Street Journal (below) and syndication to The Toronto Star, equalling a potential reach of 307 million unique monthly visitors across 20 articles.
