Chloë Sevigny

Nitehawk Cinema’s director of programming organized a special screening with actress and filmmaker Chloë Sevigny to kick off a retrospective program in 2017. I connected and confirmed W Magazine as presenting partner. Editor Karin Nelson moderated the conversation with Sevigny and W Magazine mentioned the screening (twice). I supervised the event photography, and secured additional coverage from Brooklyn Magazine, Out Magazine, NYLON, and Vanity Fair.

Steven Soderbergh

Nitehawk Cinema’s event and cinema team leads organized an event with director Steven Soderbergh’s alcohol company Singani 63 in 2016. My responsibilities included hiring a photographer, supervising the event photography, and promoting the event through traditional pitching and media invitations. Coverage included a feature in the New York Observer and mentions in Collider and Complex magazine.

Lupita Nyong’o & Uzo Aduba

While at Quinn PR in 2015, my client AlSol Hotels & Resorts requested celebrity visibility. My teammate sourced a third-party liaison and given my passion for entertainment and experience writing for Variety, I assigned creating and managing a celebrity visit program for the hotel. I created a wishlist of celebrities with mass appeal, reviewed with the client, and narrowed down the top choices. I then drafted and edited contracts with our liaison and social media requirements. As a result, we confirmed Lupita Nyong’o and Uzo Aduba for hotel stays. Their social media posts from the hotel resulted in engagement of up to 53,000 likes on Nyong’o’s Instagram posts and 22,000 on Aduba’s, 19,000 and 3,700 likes on Facebook respectively, and digital coverage on People.com, Huffington Post, and InStyle, among others.
